How We Make It

Kala cotton is one of India’s oldest cultivated fibres — rain-fed, chemical-free, and hand-spun the same way it has been for centuries. Two pieces in this collection are woven on handlooms in Kutch, where the weave itself carries the fingerprint of the person who made it. Every colour is drawn from plants and minerals. Nothing synthetic touches this cloth.
