ARTH, meaning “meaning” in Hindi, is a sustainable clothing brand rooted in conscious living. We believe that small, mindful choices can create lasting change—not just in fashion, but in how we live.
Our tagline, Threads of Change, reflects our commitment to slow, honest shifts—from how fabrics are sourced to how garments are worn and valued.
Every piece at ARTH is crafted with care—using handloom textiles, natural dyes, plastic-free packaging, and thoughtful design. We honour traditional craftsmanship while embracing modern simplicity.
ARTH is more than clothing. It’s a reminder to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with nature, with culture, and with the deeper meaning behind everyday choices.
At ARTH, we envision a world where fashion is not fast, fleeting, or wasteful—but slow, rooted, and meaningful.
Our vision is to inspire a shift in the way we create, consume, and connect—with our clothes, our culture, and our planet. We aim to build a conscious community that values thoughtful design, sustainable choices, and the quiet power of small, everyday actions.
By working with natural fabrics, ethical processes, and mindful packaging, we hope to reconnect people with the deeper purpose behind what they wear. To make sustainability feel natural, not forced. To bring back stories, intention, and care to every thread.
Through each piece we create, ARTH hopes to plant seeds of change—gently, honestly, and one garment at a time.
Arth didn’t start with a plan. It started with a feeling.
That feeling most people have in their twenties – that you’re capable of something bigger than what’s right in front of you. That somewhere between who you are and who you’re becoming, there’s something worth building.
We met in college. Became best friends by second year. The kind of friendship that just quietly becomes the best part of your story.
And somewhere between deadlines, chai breaks, and figuring out who we were – the idea came up. We should start something of our own. Something with real intention behind it. We said it constantly, eyes lit up every single time, like it was the first time we were saying it. We did absolutely nothing about it. And honestly? Maybe we weren’t ready yet.
Then we graduated, got jobs – one of us in styling, one in design – and looking back, it feels like the universe was just quietly preparing us. Every project, every brief, every moment spent thinking about craft and fabric and detail was adding up to something we couldn’t see clearly yet but could absolutely feel.
So when we finally decided to go for it – everything clicked. No investors, no shortcuts – just our salaries saved up with one goal in mind, and seven months of pouring everything we had into something we truly believed in. Sourcing, designing, second-guessing, scrapping, redoing. Figuring it out as we went, and loving every bit of it.
The name was the easiest part. Arth – a Sanskrit-derived Hindi word for meaning. We wanted to make clothes people genuinely love reaching for – that look beautiful, feel effortless, and carry the kind of thought and care you can actually feel when you wear them. And knowing that choosing Arth also means supporting slow craft and conscious making – that’s not a bonus. That’s the whole point. The word held all of that. We locked it and never looked back.
Two years from the first conversation to the first collection. A hundred more ideas already in our heads. And the best part? We’re just getting started.
